Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra launch their eighth “Oprah & Deepak 21-Day Meditation Experience” titled “Manifesting Grace through Gratitude,” open for registration today at Oprah.com/meditation. This all-new, free 21-day meditation experience beginning on Monday, July 13, will help participants stop chasing the things they think they need to be happy and start finding true joy in each present moment. Simultaneously, it aims to help alleviate stress and revitalize mind, body and spirit.
Originally launched in 2013, the “Oprah & Deepak 21-Day Meditation Experience” now features a catalogue of eight different programs with over 4.1 million participants from hundreds of countries around the globe.
“This meditation experience will be a heartfelt journey of discovering the grace already present in our lives through the eyes of gratitude,” said Deepak Chopra.

Today’s meditation focuses on the true wisdom of your body. The body has an amazing self-regulating magnificence. It is important to remember that with every breath you take, your body is fighting to maintain homeostasis. As mentioned in the previous sessions, Ayurveda is the “Science of Life” and it embraces the concept that our bodies know exactly what needs to be done in order to keep us up and running- not just efficiently but perfectly. What we feed our body plays an important role in its ability to get the job done properly. If we were to have a conversation about what we need to do to remain healthy we would , no doubt, all agree that we need to eat properly, exercise, and get a good night’s sleep. However, one of the most important pieces of information that we need to acknowledge is that what we “feed” our body does not just refer to the food that we place on our plate. It refers to our primary food as well; that is the emotional aspect of what we are feeding ourselves on a daily basis. Freedom, love, security, self-respect, enjoyment, hugs, friendships, relaxation and passion, for example, all feed our souls and passion for life.

The trillion cells in our body are constantly collecting information and making decisions based on this data. It is not just about whether or not your stomach is full; it is also about whether your heart is full. The negative messages that you send your body and mind become a part of this process as hormones flood your body in response to these emotions.
The feedback loop that Deepak mentions is a reference to the constant cycle of messages that the body interprets and then responds to accordingly.
“Our perception and day to day choices enter our bodies feedback loop and sends messages.”
There is a constant give and take of information and your body will send these messages hoping that you are listening and will act in harmony; we need to pay close attention to these messages.
Although our bodies have the ability to create health, our free will and daily choices directly impact our health and well-being.
By minimizing negativity and maximizing a positive approach to life we create a certain balance within our physiology that feeds our health and well-being.
Our body instinctively knows what needs to be done to create perfect health. We simplify this process by feeding it the primary and secondary foods that will help and not hinder this process.
